Here Are All The Free PlayStation Plus Games For November (2018)

November is just hours away at this point, so it may feel like Sony is a bit tardy with next month’s free PlayStation Plus games announcement.

That’s because the PlayStation 4 manufacturer always announces the following month’s free games on the last Wednesday of the month, and then releases those games on PS+ the following Wednesday.

Since Halloween, the last day of October, falls on a Wednesday, that means we had to wait a little longer than usual to find out. The games in this list will become available on November 7th.

(That being said, these games were leaked earlier this month so we’ve known about them for some time—we just weren’t sure if they would change by the time the official announcement was made.)

There’s a couple really good free PS4 titles coming to PS+ subscribers next month. I haven’t played any of the PS3 or PS Vita games, however.

Here are all the free games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers in November 2018:

PS4

PS3

  • Jackbox Party Pack 2
  • Arkedo Series

PS Vita

  • Burly Men At Sea, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Roundabout, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is an HD remake of the original Bulletstorm, and the first time I played the game. I was surprisingly impressed by the bombastic bullet-hell shooter. It’s got a real kick, if you know what I mean. I enjoy its brand of over-the-top goofy-seriousness, and it’s just good fun all around. Definitely download this one if you haven’t got it already.

Yakuza Kiwami is also an HD remake, of the original Yakuza game. And man, this series is really calling my name but it just keeps sitting their on my bucket list, taking up space in the ever-burgeoning backlog. I know a lot of people really love this series and it’s one I intend to get into at some point. I’ve only played a little of this one so far, but I enjoyed diving into Japanese organized crime quite a bit.

As to all the rest, well, since PS3 titles aren’t backwards compatible (Microsoft’s Xbox 360 free Games with Gold are always backwards compatible with Xbox One) I see little reason to spend much time on them at all. Sony will be phasing out its non-PS4 games (both PS3 and Vita) in March of 2019, and they already feel like an afterthought at this point.

It really is a shame about the Vita. Here’s hoping Sony can introduce a mobile gaming solution with the PS5, perhaps something akin to the Switch but much more powerful.

In any case, check out the below links for other free games:
