Rachael Ostovich recently broke her silence following an alleged domestic violence assault at the hands of her husband, pro mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Arnold Berdon, which took place on Nov. 18, 2018 in their home in Hawaii.
TMZ obtained court documents of Rachael’s statement of the alleged incident during her efforts to get a restraining order. Furthermore, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight claims it wasn’t the first time the Titan FC fighter was physically abusive toward her.
“After a night out with family, (Arnold Berdon) punched me repeatedly on the head, face, ribs, making me fall to the ground. I gasped for breath and escaped thru (sic) balcony. I coughed up blood, threw up sev. times. Cracked orbital.”
As a result of her injuries, Ostovich was forced to bow out of her scheduled fight against Paige VanZant, which was set to go down on ESPN+ on Jan. 19, 2019 inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
According to the report, Berdon’s family is adamant he plans on defending his name in court, claiming he was acting in self defense and it was Rachael who initiated the the violent incident.
